New Aesthetics in Book Design

From sheets of papyrus to the mass press-printed volumes as we know them today, books as we know them have come a long way. Although digital technology has impacted how we consume information, book design has survived as a means of showcasing creativity and craftsmanship, as books themselves remain important sources of inspiration and knowledge.
A Book on Books showcases some of the world’s best book design work in celebrating the designers’ contributions to preserving reading culture. It also captures the voices of key influencers from publishing, printmaking, bookfair-organising, and bookshop-owning standpoints, as they continue to play a crucial role in keeping the book-making industry alive in the future.
