NE SAISON THERMIQUE
Entre 2021 et 2022, Séverine Bascouert et Sammy Stein ont produit des objets et des livres en céramique, imprimés en sérigraphie. Exposés à Nantes et à Paris, ces faïences biscornues sont le manifeste d’une pratique dilettante et amateur assumée.
Avec l’aide de Nicolas Frühauf à la photographie et du studio Spassky Fischer au design graphique, Séverine et Sammy produisent un catalogue ambigüe et auto-édité, accompagné d’une bande dessinée, de poèmes dont ceux d’Eva Prouteau et d’une traduction anglaise de Fanny Quément.

A THERMAL SEASON
Between 2021 and 2022, Séverine Bascouert and Sammy Stein produced ceramic objects and books, printed in silkscreen. Exhibited in Nantes and Paris, these biscornues are the manifesto of a dilettante and amateur practice.
With the help of Nicolas Frühauf for photography and Spassky Fischer for graphic design, Séverine and Sammy produce an ambiguous and self-published catalog, accompanied by a comic strip, poems by Eva Prouteau and an English translation by Fanny Quément.
