Les 20 planches de L’OASIS ont été initiées lors de la résidence L’Oasis,
mise en place par Antoine Marchalot, Margaux Duseigneur, Chloé Munich,
Vincent Lalanne, Pauline Barzilaï du 1er au 15 juillet 2019 à l’hôtel du Sénéchal,
à Uzerche en Corrèze (France). Merci à eux ainsi qu’à tous les résidents.
Ces pages sont librement inspirées du paysage local et des projets réalisés
par les résidents dont le Chevalier expansé de Martin Carolo, les cerises
du marché, le vent, certaines portes de la ville, les marionnettes de Chloé Munich
et Vincent Lalanne, le parchemin écrit par Paul Descamps et Martin Carolo
les gouttes de pluie, les bougies trouvées à Emmaüs de Brive-la-Gaillarde,
les épis de faîtage (pièce ornementale traditionnelle disposée sur le haut des toitures),
la médiathèque d’Uzerche.

The 20 pages of THE OASIS were concieved during the
L’OASIS residency, set up by Antoine Marchalot, Margaux
Duseigneur, Chloé Munich, Vincent Lalanne, Pauline Barzilaï
from July 1 to 15 2019 at Le Sénéchal hotel in Uzerche,
Corrèze region (France).
Many thanks to them, and to all other participants.
These pages were freely inspired by local landscapes, and
the works produced by the participants of the residency,
which include le Chevalier expansé (the Expanded Knight)
by Martin Carolo, cherries from the market, the wind, some
of the town gates, the puppets by Chloé Munich and Vincent
Lalanne, the parchment written by Paul Descamps and
Martin Carolo, the raindrops, the candles found at Emmaüs
charity shop in Brive-la-Gaillarde, the finials (ornaments
traditionally positioned on rooftops), the library of Uzerche
